In terms of installation (wired/wireless) is very simple and can be finished in less than 30 minutes (According to most users). Epson recommend to setup using an USB cord (not included in the package), but its wireless setup is much easier.

For scanner feature, you can do it easily from the screen of the printer then save it as JPEG, PDF or scan to email. You can also scan using Epson Scan software installed on your PC where you can tweak its colors, resolution or contrast of images, and much more.
